Q. How long does an average repair take?

Our average repair time is between 1 and 2 hours depending on type of SMART repair needed.

Q. Where will you carry out the repair?

Repairs can be carried out wherever is convenient for YOU Home or Work. We may need access to a plug Socket (don’t worry about extensions we carry these).

Q. How can I pay?

We accept cash and cheques.

Q. Are you insured?

Yes, So you can have peace of mind letting us work on your vehicle. We also have Public Liability insurance.

Q. After the repair can I use the car straight away?

Yes you can usually use the car immediately after we carry out Smart repairs but depending on the repair we may advise against washing the car for 24 hours. Or for some seat repairs a 2-12 hour wait may be needed before you can use a particular seat.

Q. Can you work in all weathers?

We offer a year round service and can work in almost all weather, naturally if there is no cover and it is gale force with torrential rain some jobs will have to be put on hold. If we expect to have weather difficulties we will always try to notify you as soon as possible.

Q. Do I need to be onsite for the repair to take place?

It is sometimes better to be present at the start of a repair task but not while the repair takes place. We will often need the keys to the vehicle just in case it needs to be moved or to get the paint colour code.

Q. How can you quote when you have not seen the vehicle?

Assuming we are given a fair and reasonable description of the damage we will be able to give a pretty accurate quote or price guide over the phone. If the damage differs significantly from the description we reserve the right to amend the quote. We will always confirm the price before starting a Smart Repair.
